The ISTC wants to develop partnerships with commercial and educational organisations offering courses in technical communication.
Promoting your courses
Courses can be advertised in our quarterly publication Communicator, in InfoPlus (our free electronic newsletter) and to our members via our discussion group. Please contact the ISTC office for more information.
If your course is accredited by the ISTC, you can use the ISTC Accredited logo on your materials, and accredited courses are also listed on our website.
Offering a discount to ISTC members
If you are willing to offer a discount to ISTC members, please let us know. We are happy to verify that people applying for a place on one of your courses are members of the ISTC.
The ISTC Accreditation scheme
Providers of courses in technical communication and related (specialist) subjects are invited to apply for their course to be accredited by the ISTC.
As part of the accreditation process, providers receive an independent assessment of the quality of their educational provision. They also gain access to ISTC members, through the Institute’s web site and other publications. ISTC members benefit from greater visibility of available courses that have been independently assessed, and the ISTC is able to advance its aims of improved professional education and training.
The ISTC Accreditation Scheme offers recognition to specified courses offered by providers, and does not offer recognition to the provider, to any employee or agent of a provider, or to any student or graduate of a course.
For more information
Please contact the ISTC Office (firstname.lastname@example.org) for details of how to apply for accreditation of courses that your organization offers.
