Following the recent passing of President Linda Robins, the ISTC Board has taken steps to ensure continuity and confidence during this period of change. We have asked Carol Leahy and James Bartley to jointly oversee the responsibilities of the President’s role until the next AGM, when a new President will be duly elected. Carol, a past President, brings invaluable experience, while James, an active member of Council, is committed to continuing the work they started together and her vision for the ISTC. Their collaboration will ensure that the ISTC continues to serve and support its members effectively.

In Memory of Linda Robins
We are deeply saddened to share that our President, Linda Robins, passed away on 28th January 2025 after a short illness, with her family by her side.
Linda was a dedicated and long-standing member of the ISTC, having joined Council in 2006 and becoming President in 2020. Over the years, she played an invaluable role in many areas, including Membership, Awards (serving as Head Judge), CPD, Course Accreditation, and Communicator. Her contributions and leadership have left a lasting impact on the ISTC and the wider technical communication community.
While we mourn her passing, the work of the ISTC continues. The Council remains committed to supporting our members and upholding the values Linda championed throughout her time with us.
