“The Engineering Construction Industry Association (ECIA) have published six Productivity Best Practice Guides, and two (Workforce Planning and Supervision) formed this entry.
Committees within the ECIA determined what the best practice should be, and this information was then developed into guides that are engaging, consistent and – above all – useful to UK Engineering Construction Industry. We particularly liked the overviews for each section, and the provision of checklists.”

The clear straightforward language used throughout the document is essential as it is only translated into one language (Japanese); both this and the logical structure and clear signposting (including good use of colour) make this entry a winner.”

“Paragon Help is designed for all users from novice to advanced level. The objective is to allow ease of use at all levels and for the user to know that the answer is available without recourse to Support.
The entry is clearly written and explains concepts and features well. The user can be confident that the information is readily available and at the level required for any given enquiry. The design is very attractive and well implemented. The combination of media and graphics for Help and PDF is particularly effective. Interactive animation is used to very good effect. It is this combination which marks the entry as a winner in this class. A very accomplished piece of work.”

We appreciated the time constraints for this project, and commended the writer for providing a framework for future work within it.”
